We are thrilled to announce, Copper ID will be participating in Salone del Mobile, Milan, 2015.

The Copper team will be exhibiting within Salone Satellite , an exposé of young and emerging designers from around the world.

Viktor Legin, Ed Linacre and Lewis Yee will be premiering new designs in addition to the current Copper ID range.

Salone del Mobile runs from April 14-19. Open to members of the trade all days, and open to the general public on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19.

Copper ID have recently participated in the design and creation of the Sunset Stage at the Rainbow Serpent Festival, 2015.

Through this experience, Copper collaborated with a team of artists and designers to create an origami-like landscape. Click bellow for the teaser video.

This year 7 students from Copper's lighting design class at RMIT Industrial Design will be exhibiting their works at VIVID, Australia's longest running competition for new and emerging designers. You can see their works on display at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from July the 10th to the 13th.
Copper are proud of our students achievements and would like to congratulate the VIVID finalists from the class; Dennis Lam, Ellen Keillar, Stephanie Ho, Sebastian Damm and Jackson Turner, Hope Giacoppo and Nicola Liston.

Students of Copper I.D's RMIT Industrial Design class; Lewis Yee and Georgina Burley have been announced as finalists in this years Launch Pad design competition. Lewis and Georgina have made the top 15 entries from a pool of near 150 applications. Congratulations to our students and the fellow 13 finalists.

Copper I.D win Temple & Webster: Emerging Design Award by Lewis Yee

Temple & Webster have just announced Edward Linacre and Viktor Legin of Copper I.D as the winners of the Emerging Design Award. Despite the outstanding standard of work in the competition the judges have awarded Viktor and Edward for their diversity in design and contribution to the design community through teaching.

The Copper Class by Lewis Yee

During the second semester of 2013 the Copper I.D duo Edward Linacre and Viktor Legin tutored a class of talented RMIT Industrial Design students. This industry based studio allowed students to develop their own unique lighting designs.

The student work produced under the mentoring of Copper I.D surpassed the boundaries of the classroom, culminating in an independent exhibition. Since the conclusion of the program student work has gone on to exhibit in Milan and Sydney as well as appearing in national press and television.

Copper I.D.'s Student Wins the Edge Concept Award by Ed Linacre

Six RMIT Industrial Design students tutored by Copped I.D. have participated in the Edge, a national design competition held in Sydney. 

Congratulations to our student Rebecca Crooke, winner of the Concept Award in the Edge competition at Decoration + Design, Sydney. Rebecca claimed the Concept Award with her Paperclip Desk Lamp. Read more here.
